The battle of honour in the pink city was close and exciting. The six teams that qualified to the final were:
- Godrej – Saurabh Gupta & Kumar Vaibhav Tanwar
- Henkel India Ltd – Kalyan C & Ramandeep S
- Make My Trip: Harkirat Singh & Saurabh
- ICICI Bank: Sachin Gautam & Akshay N
- Reliance Retail: Md.Raza Khan & Suneet Vyas
- State Bank of India: Satendra Pal Singh & Ajay Kumar Motwani
The first few rounds of the final were very even with all teams scoring. By end of the second round it seemed like a battle that would go with all teams in a huddle. The buzzer rounds began and that started separating a few teams from the others.
While all teams made valiant efforts to move forward in the penultimate round it was team Godrej that really took the initiatives and pressed forward to establish a good lead. Team SBI which was just behind them with Henkel and ICICI Bank also moved up.
In the final round of the quiz it was Godrej that stamped its authority and a place in the national final with some truly well timed answers. Team SBI finished runner up while ICICI Bank came in third.
Mr.Sanjay Singh the guest of honour urged the youngsters to view knowledge as seriously as the Tata’s do and that over time it is knowledge that would prove to be a decisive factor.
