Tata Crucible Campus Hackathon 2018 - Bangaluru

The Bengaluru finals of Tata Crucible Corporate Hackathon concluded successfully on October 6, 2018 at TCS Think Campus, Electronic City, Bengaluru. 8 shortlisted teams presented their solutions for the three challenges. Mr. Sujay Suresh Dangi, Chief Optometrist & Head of Technical Services for Titan Eyewear and Mr. Suneel T S, General Manager, Tata Group technology and Innovation Office, were the Jury for the event.

The winning team was TAJ ENGINEERING MALABAR, who presented their prototype on Road Safety for Two Wheelers. Their solution was titled AVIGHNA - (AUTOMATED VEHICLE IGNITOR & GEAR HELMET FOR NON - ALCOHOLIC ) . The team was led by Kannan P Nair and also included Sebastian and Abhijith who are all part of the Taj Malabar, Cochin. The winning team received a cash prize of Rs. 70000*.

A young start-up Bluesinq Automations bagged the runner up title, who presented their prototype for the Smart City Enabler challenge. The team comprised of Rohit Komaragunta and Deepak Chanchal. The runner-up team received a cash prize of Rs. 30000*.
