Campus Quiz Results - Lucknow – IIT Kanpur rise at Lucknow
Close to 200 teams at the beautiful Vivanta by Taj at Lucknow and a festive feel engulfed the cerebral forum from the Tatas. Youngsters from all over the state had travelled to be part of the quiz. A tricky and well balanced prelim anchored in swift pace by ace quizmaster Pickbrain set the tone for a wonderful afternoon of quizzing. The teams that made it to the finale were:

The huge audience of close to 400 people were treated to some outstanding quizzing as all the teams battled well to crack very craftily framed posers by the seasoned interrogator. All the rounds were evenly fought with the IIT duo staying a little ahead of the rest right through the quiz and in the final rounds closed out the battle with some quality answers to win the first ever Crucible title for IIT Kanpur.
The duo of Kshemu Desai and Aviral got the better of Prerna and Arpit to clinch the runner up title in an all IIM tussle.
The host Mr.Jayant Krishna: Head TCS Lucknow congratulated the teams for the a stupendous show and felt the future of India was bright and save with such talent, while the guest of honour Mr.Rajan Shukla (IAS) Principal Secretary Culture and Coordination, Govt of UP spoke about how talent was evidently in abundance but as they embrace their future he urged the youngsters to “marry that talent and ability to commitment” to ensure they see success.
