Corporate Quiz Results - National Finals – Vizag Steel and TCS clinch national titles
Celebrating a decade of Intelligent Entertainment at Tata Crucible, the national finale of the Tata and non Tata tracks were riveting finals that kept the audience at the edge of their seats. Quizmaster Pickbrain was his customary best interlacing wit and wise cracks between his posers that people come from many a mile to watch.
The Tata track saw defending champions Sreekanth and Jayakanthan from TCS Chennai clinch yet another Crucible title with relative ease, as the former on his birthday became the highest title holder as an individual, this being his fifth championship.
The non Tata track saw a three way battle that went down to the final question with the 2012 champions Chennai Silks, Oracle India and Vizag Steel all playing the game exceedingly well. In the end it was the turn for a new champion to emerge in the form of Vizag Steel who has been six time national finalists but never ever won the coveted title but had perhaps reserved it to clinch the tenth year title.
Mr.Ravi Kant, Director, Tata Industries and Vice Chairman, Tata Motors congratulated the teams and gave away the prizes which included a cash prize of Rs.7 Lakh for each champion and a Tata Nano each.
