Corporate Quiz Results - Jaipur – Maurya Learning are Rajasthan Royals!
The Taj welcomed into its grandeur contestants from various corporate houses for the 10th edition of Tata Crucible, a business quiz that is making a comeback to the pink city. Teams greeted noted quizmaster Pickbrain as he walked in with both pleasantries and a burst of queries about the quiz. Once the teams settled in the quizmaster took charge and the city slowly started getting a feel of what professional quizzing is all about as much as they enjoyed the humour of the ace host. The finalists who made it from the prelim were:
- Magpie School of Mgmt : Ms.Leena Piplani and Udit Arya
- Genpact : Shakti Kavia and Vikram Kavia
- RBI : Shrikanth Gupta and Amrendra Gupta
- Maurya Learning : Avinash and Aditya Sharma
- Indian Oil Corp : Nitin Raj and Ajitpal Singh Patel
- Ferrero India : Reetesh Sahu and Kumar Vaibhav Tanwar
The final was a very close battle with as many as four teams starting on an even footing as the quizmaster moved from one round of the quiz to another. The visual round of the quiz was a true treat as the audience also answered posers to win themselves prizes from the Tatas. The round of Tata and lateral thinking resulted in the duo from Maurya Learning moving ahead of the rest with IOCL and the Magpie team behind them.
In the final rounds a quick comeback from the Ferrero duo made the quiz interesting as three teams were now trying to chase down Maurya. The Maurya duo though did not play wait and watch as they took their chances and won the quiz without any risks, while on the final question Ferroro went for the buzzer and clinched the runner up title.
