Corporate Quiz Results - Infosys takes Chandigarh
An overcast evening with several vintage cars from a popular rally roaring into the Taj at Chandigarh brought smiles to everyone’s face. It seemed a relaxed evening that changed gears rather quickly as Pickbrain started with his prelim and teams urged him not to give away clues. A relatively competitive prelim, therefore, led to the finalists.

- RBI : Abhay Mittal and Vikramjit Singh
- Ignored Learning Solutions : Devwrat Dube and Shubham.T
- Infosys : Anish Gupta and Aseem Khurana
- Indian Hotels (Taj) : Sumit Dhaka and Kushagra Sharma
- Infosys : Manu Chugh and Deepak Jain
The finale witnessed a display of preparation and well thought out strategy by Infosys with Manu and Deepak. It saw them get off to an early lead, playing on high bets, giving the maximum traction. It put a lot of pressure on the other teams who had to push themselves to take their half chances and play at high values.
The quiz moved on with a couple of good answers from RBI, Mittal Securities, Infosys with Anish and Aseem, but none of them could really find the cluster of right answers they needed to challenge the leaders. The one team that looked like doing it was Ignored Learning. They did manage to keep the battle alive till the last round but had to settle for the runner-up as Manu and Deepak closed on an even higher note.
The guest of honour, Mr. Sanjeev Kalra (IPS) ADG Punjab Police, Chandigarh, appreciated the way knowledge had become the driver of a young nation and spoke of how the event reminded him of his college quizzing days in the same city. He was joined on stage by Mr. Surinder Singh, GM, Taj Chandigarh, who spoke of how even a simple quiz reflected the Tata ethos of growing together.
