Corporate Quiz Results - Guwahati – Lawyer duo win Guwahati
A quite saturday morning seemed the ideal setting for the Guwahati edition of the quiz to be held after it was postponed due to floods in the city. Teams from across the state were present as a quick prelim led to the final six.
- NEIGRIHMS Govt. of India, Min. of Health, Shillong : Chandan K and Vinay Upadhyay
- Gonit Sora Tezpur : Hrishikesh B and Salik Borbora
- Pioneers and Partners : Syed B Rehman and Shah Syed Samadur
- ASEB : Arnab Chakraborty and Bhaskar Chakraborty
- Q Factor Solutions : Maharnav Gogoi and Chiranjit Gam
- Assam Tribune :Dipankar Koushik and Champak Sarma
The quiz final was a tense, closely fought affair as teams took their time to get used to new format and were certainly tentative on the buzzer. While the ASEB duo led in the beginning, the Govt. of India team followed it with some good answers.
Soon the quiz progressed to the other rounds and the lawyers from Pioneers and Partners came up with some good strikes and started progressing as did the Q Factor team. A few questions more and Q factor lost some ground while the Lawyers advanced along with ASEB.
The final couple of questions were tense but the Pioneers were calm and collective as they cracked just enough to make it to the zonals. It was an absorbing final given that all the six teams had a good chance to win the quiz and eventually a better prepared team got through to represent the city in the next level of the quiz.
