Second edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Hackathon 2018 concludes successfully

The 2nd edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Hackathon concluded successfully in October 2018. Over 150 teams from across India, took part in this edition. 9 teams were shortlisted for the Bengaluru finals held on October 6, 2018 and 17 teams were shortlisted for the Mumbai Finals held on October 13, 2018. Team from Taj Malabar won the Bengaluru Finals and a young team from a start-up named YUPS Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd won the Mumbai Finals.

Mr. Sujay Suresh Dangi, Chief Optometrist & Head of Technical Services for Titan Eyewear and Mr. Suneel T S, General Manager, Tata Group technology and Innovation Office, were the Jury members for the Bengaluru event. Mr. Hasit Kaji, Vice President and Head - Special Initiatives & Gujarat Branch Head of Tata Consultancy Services, Mr. Santosh Singh, Global Head of Business Excellence and Innovation at Tata Technologies and Mr. Shrinivas Kulkarni, Consultant in Open Innovation from Group Technology and Innovation Office were the Jury members for the Mumbai event.

Tata Crucible is a knowledge initiative by the Tata Group which started as a business quiz in 2004. It broadened its horizon in 2017 and added another platform in its fold, namely the ‘Tata Crucible Hackathon’. Group Technology and Innovation Office of the Tata group is the content partner for the Tata Crucible Hackathon.
