Team Novartis a debut finalist, played brilliantly to clinch the 2019 Tata Crucible title for the corporate edition of the quiz.
The awe-inspiring Taj Mahal Palace at Mumbai played host to the high-profile finale. Ace quizmaster Pickbrain had perhaps reserved his best arsenal for the day as he stumped the teams with his phenomenal array of questions. The quiz is a culmination of an annual 25 city knowledge extravaganza that brings the best minds of the nation together. As one contestant put it “This is knowledge pilgrimage”.

- Savoire Faire, Goa: Rajiv D’ Silva and Harshvardhan
- SAIL, Jamshedpur: Srimant Mallik and Sampad Mishra
The quiz also featured a round hosted by Mr. Harish Bhat, Brand Custodian, Tata Sons whose questions were challenging and tested the teams. The quiz saw the duo from TCS get into an early lead while Savoir Faire also did well. After a slow start with cautious 100s, the team from Novartis gained confidence and played higher values as they got past these teams and into the lead.
From there on, no one could challenge Novartis as they won a clinically played final leaving TCS and Savoir Faire to finish joint second. The chief guest Mr. Praveer Sinha MD & CEO, Tata Power applauded the teams and gave away the prizes. He was joined on stage by quizmaster Pickbrain and Mr. Harish Bhat.
