On a quite Tuesday afternoon the Gitam University campus came alive to Tata Crucible with close over 750 participants making their way to the tenth edition of the nation’s biggest business quiz. It was a new record for the city and a reflection of the popularity of the quiz in which the 2013 corporate edition national champions of Tata Crucible are from Vizag.

Discussions prior to the quiz ranged from what the questions would be like to what attire the quizmaster would wear. The quiz started with a 20 question prelim as Pickbrain went about executing his task with precision.

Gitam Inst. Of Management: Ms.Bodhitha and Ms.Shruti

The fun was full of thrill and entertainment with most teams doing well in the first half of the quiz. The buzzer rounds were handled very smartly by the Gitam duo of Premchand and Vamsi who dominated the Tata round cracking three of four posers.

However, in the round that followed, GMRIT made a comeback and it was a deadlock as the quiz moved into the final question with both these teams tied on the same score. A resolute and calm Premchand and Vamsi took the final question in their stride and cracked it to win a memorable edition of the quiz.

The winners were awarded prizes by Mr.Shovik Bhattacharya the GM of Taj Gateway Vishakapatnam and Prof. Subramaniam the Vice Chancellor of Gitam University.
