Campus Quiz Results - Trichy – BIM wins nervous Trichy Final
Nervous, Tense and Tentative were some of the words quizmaster Pickbrain chose to describe the Trichy final of Tata Crucible. 183 teams took part in the prelim reflecting the popularity of the quiz just in its second year at this city. The wild card round resulted in Sastra University and BIM Trichy going through.

The final was a very tentative and cautious battle with all teams moving in a huddle. While the initial rounds saw teams score well a couple of them committed highly avoidable errors on the buzzer to lose ground that they have covered. It only made the battle more tense and close.
Even the final buzzer rounds did not help any team move forward and for the first time three teams were tied for the top slot with IIM-Trichy barely behind them with just 5 points to spare. The tie breaker resulted in BIM Trichy going into the final while NIT finished as runner-up edging out Sastra Univ.
