Forcing a tie breaker and cracking April’s Fools Day – the day on which Apple was created , team from Savoir Faire Media emerged as the quizzing champion at the National Final of Tata Crucible Business Quiz- 2010 – External Track for corporates. In the Tata Track TCS Mumbai creates history by doing it three times in a row at National Finals

The finale of Tata Crucible – The Business Quiz 2010 couldn’t have got better ! In what turned out to be brilliant combination of battle of wits and logical thinking, in the non-Tata track, the team of Mr.RajivD’Silva and Mr.Harshavardhan Bhatkuly from Savoir Fair Media from Goa showcased exceptional teamwork and backed themselves to hilt to emerge National Champions of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2010 . Surely it’s party time for them !

In the Tata track, the team comprising Mr. Aniruddha Dutta and Mr. M. Suresh Kumar from TCS emerged victorious for the third time in a row and received the Tata Crucible trophy and cash prize of Rs. 4 lakhs.

The quiz was hosted by ace quizmaster Mr. Giri Balasubramaniam a.k.a. Pickbrain, who challenged and kept both the audience and participants on their toes throughout the event.

Thrilled with their win, the National Champions Mr.Rajiv D’Silva and Mr.Harshavardhan Bhatkuly from Savoir Faire Media said, “It’s a great opportunity for us to be part of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz. We have enjoyed the crucible and learnt a lot from Mr.Giri’s different quizzing style. We are looking forward to participate in the future as well”

The 7th edition of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz, spread across two months, witnessed strong participation with over 1000 teams contesting in non-Tata track, held across 18 cities and 300 teams across 8 cities . Some of the regional winners of Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2010 included prestigious corporates like Marico Industries, Bhillai Steel Plant, NTPC, ITC, even a team from the Armed Force Medical Services among others.

Felicitating the national winners Mr. Ramodorai, Vice Chairman, TCS said, “I think, when you see the knowledge and the capabilities that was exhibited here , that’s the wealth of this nation that’s what the whole world is looking at. The demographic profile our country and what it can do it do in next 15 -20 – 30 years , is the envy of every nation and that’s what we are witnessing today .
