Campus Quiz Results - Pune – Symbiosis Law rules Pune

The Pune round of the quiz was the final edition of the 2008 Campus version of Crucible. All the regular names in Pune’s college quizzing circuit had lined up for the big one. At the end of it all as Pickbrain put it “The old order changeth yielding place to the new” as one of the youngest teams on stage and maybe even at Tata Crucible won the Pune edition.

The final was a riveting affair with the duo from ICTM taking an early lead with some amazing answers. In the rounds that followed both the teams from Symbiosis Law School kept their score ticking and their hopes in the quiz alive. The other finalists were SIBM, PVG’s COET and Sinhgad College of Engg.

As the quiz moved towards the final rounds, it became a battle of nerves with ICTM and the Law School teams with an even chance of winning the quiz. It all came down to the final question of the quiz where Suvajit Chakraborty and Subhodeep Jash the young duo from Symbiosis Law School inching past ICTM (Anubhav Chatterjee and Vijay Krishna) and Symbiosis Law School (Sanjeev and Raghav) to win the prestigious Pune title.

The team from ICTM won the second place on a tiebreaker.
