Format of the quiz
The quiz will be a single event open to students, in teams of two each, from the same polytechnic/college/university. At the start of the event, all teams will have to participate in a written elimination round of nearly 25 questions. The 8 top teams from the written round will then be invited on stage, post wild card round depending on the number of teams, to battle it out for the coveted Tata Crucible Singapore trophy.

There will be five to six live rounds on stage that will consist of questions from the world of business and economy, including business houses, personalities, brands, markets, etc. The emphasis in the questions is not on the obvious, but lateral thinking and associations.

The Quiz Master, Giri Balasubramaniam, a.k.a. Pickbrain has successfully conducted the Tata Crucible Quiz in India, Singapore and the UK. He is known for his wit, humour and incisive style of quizzing.
