Tata Crucible seeks to bring together the sharpest young minds to take on the heat of a tough business quiz. The Quiz made its debut in India in 2004 and successfully generated a huge response in the very first year itself. It has since become an annual event.

The Quiz is a part of the Tata group's engagement with the youth as a knowledge initiative to encourage lateral associations, speed of thought and out-of-the-box thinking.

The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz made its international debut with the Singapore edition in 2007. It offers Singapore's student community a unique opportunity to involve themselves with the subject of international business, in an engaging and intellectually stimulating manner.

The 2017 edition saw strong participation of 164 students in 82 teams from prominent local institutions, including Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, S. P. Jain School of Global Management and Singapore Management University. Rohan Naidu and Shivam Bhardwaj from National University of Singapore were crowned winners at the grand finale of the 10th edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz at the Shaw Foundation Alumni House, National University of Singapore. Closely following the lead pair were Arvind Ramesh and Anshuman Anand from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The second runners-up position was sealed by Tanushree Kumar and Sahaj Chopra of S.P.Jain School of Global Management. Rohan Naidu and Shivam Bhardwaj also went on to win the international championship title in the two nation final held in Mumbai in April 2017.
