Capgemini cruise from Kolkata
A Sunday afternoon with a perfect cloudy cover and possible afternoon showers, seemed more like weather conditions for a game at the Eden Gardens. With over 400 corporates at the Gateway, the excitement at this eden seemed no different. An interesting and not so easy prelim led to the six teams that made it to the final.

FINALISTS
  • HSBC : Samrat Banerjee and Anirvan Bhadra
  • Durgapur Steel Plant : Anand Kumar and Mitra P
  • SREI Infra Finance : Arijit Hajra and Ketan Mukhija
  • TCS : Sudip Kalyan Dey and Abhishek Das
  • mJunction : Debasish Mukherjee and Abhishek Kar
  • Capgemini : Rabi Shankar Saha and Abhishek Chakraborthy
The final witnessed the all teams in a close battle right through the questions. If it was TCS in a lead, soon enough it was mJunction and then Capgemini and HSBC making it a complicated and keen tussle.

The same thing kept continuing till the final five posers. Even at this stage any of the six teams could have won the quiz. That underlined the competitiveness at Kolkata.

The Capgemini duo at this juncture, gave some very good answers to move ahead and clinched the title. The team from TCS and mJunction battled out a tie breaker for the second place, which the former won.

The guest of honour Mr. Peeyush Gupta, Vice President, Tata Steel underlined the power of knowledge as he gave away the prizes.
