Patna witnessed its first ever corporate edition of Tata Crucible with the following six teams making it to the final from the prelim.
The following six teams made it to the final from the prelim.
- PEARSON EDUCATION: Vivek Kumar Mishra and Praveen Kumar
- FINO: Ashish Lath and Manish Mani
- JOINING POINT: Jai Prakash Pandey and Anupam Dwijendra
- BHILAI STEEL PLANT: Sanjay Shamkuwar and Manoj Kumar Prasad
- MTS: Asad Rashid and Anshu Ranjan
- ITC LTD: Rakesh Kumar and Anubhav Malhotra
The final witnessed a very high quality of questions and for a first time city it was nice to see the finalists live up to the same. The event was a very closely fought affair right from the first question to the final one.
As the quiz went into the middle rounds the young micro financers from FINO looked all set to win the quiz but a resilient Bhilai Steel Plant came back to level scores in the final round of the quiz. Eventually, a long drawn tie breaker was required to settle the battle with experience prevailing over youth as Bhilai Steel Plant held their nerve to win the title. The performance of the young FINO team was appreciated by one and all.
The teams received their prizes from the young and dynamic IAS officer Mr.Pratyaya Amrit, Secretary - Road Construction, Govt of Bihar.
